About The Band
Dr.Rox are a north west UK based three piece guitar band, specialising in classic rock music. They formed in the summer of 2000, initially to have a few laughs, but one thing led to another....
The band went on to play a few gigs in 2001, were encouraged by the reception, found themselves in demand and...went on to play a lot more gigs since!
They've built a wide repertoire of songs drawn from diverse sources including The Beatles, Bryan Adams, Rolling Stones, Manic Street Preachers, Oasis, Bob Dylan, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden & Deep Purple to name a few.
And now...Dr.Rox are regulars on the North West pub-rock scene. Relentless gigging and rehearsal has honed their distinctive sound. Because no two venues are identical, the set is varied and customised to fit the requirements of the promoter and the audience.
